And so, in time, the Princess Sophie grew into Queen Sophie! See her recline on her favorite chair, demanding belly rubs and NOMs from all her subjects!
Welcome toPaw de Chat! Whether you're a cat owner, a cat lover, or just simply cat curious, there's a lot in store for you here.
You can look forward to new, feline-focused bite-sized videos every week! I plan on posting clips of original interviews with local shelters, expert veterinarians, cat show judges, professional breeders, and fellow cat owners to share knowledge and cat craziness with you.
Throughout the week, I'll sprinkle bite-sized facts, photos and products into the mix, too. If you've got a topic you'd like to see covered, please feel free to email me. Thanks! >^..^<
What does "Paw de Chat" mean?
In ballet, pas de chat is defined as a cat-like leaping step which moves sideways. It starts from a fifth position of the feet and ends in fifth position, with the dancer jumping off one foot and landing on the other, and the literal translation is "step of the cat."
Pas de chat is pronounced "pah-deh-shah," so I thoughtPAW de Chatwould be a funny and appropriate twist. It also sounds friendlier than CLAW de Chat! Meow! >^..^<
I am a bonafide cat lover, but I harbor an intense academic interest in our feline friends, too. Although cats have been commonplace companions for centuries, they are still animals, first and foremost… and mysterious ones at that! I’m going to put my inquisitive mind to good use and share with you whatever I find.
